Howdy! I am admiralhowdy. I have edited here on TimeSplitters Wiki, so that's why this user page has been created. I'm an avid mapmaker and serve as an administrator at the Rec Room where hundreds of mapmaker map blueprints are archived: http://s7.zetaboards.com/Rec_Room/site/
Here is a test link to show you what Rec Room members have done to share their user-made maps across the 3 console platforms since 2005 (my most recent "Struanized" map): Cloudy with a Chance of Zombies
And here is a test video of the gameplay (my first experiment in adding videos to the wiki...)
I generally record my maps as a "TimeSplitter Tale" on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/user/admiralhowdy
For those who dislike the thought of re-building maps from blueprints and just want to play things that other people have made, there are ways to share map saves across the internet. Although it's not the best version of the TSFP mapmaker, I primarily use my Gamecube for mapmaking, and have used a USB Memory adapter from EMS (product No. 0213 here http://www.hkems.com/m_main.htm ) for years. The newest Rec Room member, Bonja, was kind enough to assemble this guide recently for using a Wii to take advantage of Gamecube map saves you can find online: Bonja's Guide
If you have the Xbox or PS2 versions of the games/mapmakers, there are ways to share those map saves as well. https://www.gamefaqs.com is a good place to start for more info. While those two consoles had servers to share mapmaker maps back in the day, its very ironic that nowadays, the never-online Gamecube version now has the easiest ways of sharing saves online.
