Time To Split is an Honorary Arcade League Outnumbered But Never Outpunned! challenge. It involves fighting some high-stamina Scourge Splitters. This can be either very hard, or very easy.

Briefing[]

Krayola thought her tattoos and piercings were pretty freaky until the Scourge Splitters turned up down at the Compound. Show them that there's more to it than just looking hard.

Strategy[]

This battle takes place at the Compound, so watch your back for those nasty Splitters, as they can pop up almost anywhere due to the Compound's open area nature. Try to find the SBP90 Machine Guns (x2) and kill as many Splitters as you can without dying. To the right of the main building is a Shrink Powerup. Do NOT let any Splitters get this, as it makes them harder to kill. Take it for yourself and most of the Splitters will just shoot right over your head. If you keep to the open area in front of the main building, you should easily get a gold. Armour can also be found in the ditch in front of the garage buildings (left). For health, look inside the main building.

  • Alternative strategy. Set Weapon Change to Best. Get the SBP90 Machine Guns (x2) which can be found on the far side of the compound away from the building. Then go into the small garage with the ditch in front of it, this is on the right hand side of the compound as viewed from the building. Wait here for the Splitters to come to you, sidestepping will reduce the amount of hits you take. There is a handy machine gun pick up here which will give you ammo but also pick up the weapons the Splitters drop, also run forward to get the armour in the ditch when it appears. If you keep trying you can get a platinum this way.

Trivia[]

  • Unlike the other two challenges of Outnumbered But Never Outpunned!, this game is a real Team Deathmatch, with both Splitters having Blue Team icons above their heads, their kills counting toward their score, and the score on the pause menu reading "Kills" (as opposed to ducks or hands).
