TimeSplitters Zero was a fan-made TimeSplitters game developed by HarrytheDee. The concept was to imagine what a TimeSplitters game would look like if it was made in the early 90s.
HarrytheDee had previously made a first attempt at creating a FPS inspired by TimeSplitters in 2011 but he wasn't happy with the result. The development of TimeSplitters Zero started in November 2014 and a first demo was released the next month.
A third demo was scheduled to be released in late 2015 but the game ended up being cancelled in August due to the developer lacking free time to work on it and several troubles caused by the game engine.
