The Soviet Rifle is an assault rifle that, despite its name, is a completely different design from the Soviet S47.
Background[]
It has only appeared in TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, but its name may suggest that it was an earlier version of the Soviet S47, as seen in TimeSplitters 2, the major difference being that the Soviet Rifle can't fire grenades, since it has no rifle-mounted grenade launcher.
Gameplay[]
It has the lowest rate of fire of all the automatics in TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, but it more than makes up for it with its incredible power per shot. Like the K-SMG, it has a closed-bolt-like accuracy which is only hindered by the lack of a scope and the resulting natural movement of the player. It has a magazine size of 30, and you can carry up to 200 bullets at a time.
Trivia[]
- It greatly resembles the real-life AR-18 and RK 95 TP, with the stock removed and an extended magazine.
