The ever popular SK limited edition of the PROMETHEUS droid. Improved traction control means less embarrassing falling over in laser firefights and the sports body kit with discrete Turbo Big Boy badging is guaranteed to turn heads on any post apocalyptic urban battlefield.
Unfolds body and says "Eliminate all humans."
PROMETHEUS SK/8 is identical to the PROMETHEUS SD/7, except for yellow highlights and eyes instead of green, and arms that end in cannons instead of hands. Although they actually use them in the Story mode where they launch HeatSeeking rockets, they can't be used in arcade mode, and will not use them if placed in a level made using the Mapmaker. From the perspective of a player playing as the PROMETHEUS SK/8, it will have normal hands just like the PROMETHEUS SD/7.
Like many of the UltraNet characters, PROMETHEUS SK/8 suffers from a lack of Shock Proofing, giving it a considerable disadvantage over other robots like R-110 or even Robofish. Also worth noting is that, although its gallery bio states it has improved traction control over the SD/7, their actual agility is identical.
GOLIATH SD/9, R-110, PROMETHEUS SD/7 and SK/8 All appear to share the same first-person hand model, albeit retextured, as seen here. This is inaccurate to the third person model, as PROMETHEUS SK/8's hands are replaced by cannons.
The last part of his name may be a play on the word 'skate'.
