Monkey Assistant is a game mode that appears in TimeSplitters 2 and TimeSplitters Future Perfect. In essence, it's a standard Deathmatch with one major addition: Monkeys! Every 30 or so seconds, a trumpet will signal the arrival of a band of well-armed monkeys. These simian soldiers teleport in to give the player in last place a little help, usually by hunting down whoever is currently in the lead and making their life hell. Killing a monkey does not increase your score.
In TSFP, Monkey, Ninja Monkey, and Cyborg Chimp all appear as assistants. Brains, however, does not.

- In TimeSplitters 2, if Monkey is present in the selected bot set, he will be replaced with Jungle Queen instead.
