Gretel Mark III (Successor)
Gretel appears only in the original TimeSplitters, as one of the nine females, and eighteen core Story protagonists. She is the first appearance of the Gretel Series of robots. She is a female-based robot, with no hair. She has red metal over her shoulders, lower torso, and the top of her legs. The grey metal that covers most of her body is designed to look like clothing.

Gretel is the playable female character of the Spaceways story mission. She also makes an appearance in three challenges and a bot set.

Gretel appears alongside R-108 for the Spaceways mission. It is the most futuristic level of the game, featuring many forms of aliens and cyborgs as enemies. The mission involves grabbing a basket of some duty free goods and boarding the "Yareel Express", with no known reason to be under fire.
- Gretel is one of only two non-human females in the original TimeSplitters that does not use male animations, the other being Farrah Fun-Bunny. Every other non-human female (Female Alien, Female Cyborg, Fishwife Mutant, and Girl Zombie) uses male animations, despite being female characters.
- Her voice clips are reused for the second and third generations of Gretel robots.
- Gretel appears on the box art of the first TimeSplitters game.
