The Freak was Crow's first attempt at making a TimeSplitter. They have a striking resemblance to the Hybrid Mutant due to the fact that both are half-Human and half-TimeSplitter. In the story level You Genius, U-Genix, the only effective way of killing them is by use of the Injector which causes them to explode, dealing damage to everyone in a close radius. The Freak can be killed with bullets as well, but they'd have to be shot in the head a few times. They can create bursts of energy from their body.
Trivia[]
- If The Freak is placed as an enemy in Mapmaker, they will behave like a standard human, but will not die instantly if lit on fire.
- If The Freak is accidentally set on fire by a story AI in mapmaker, it will kill them before it attacks you.
- The Freak reuses voice clips from Hick Hyde (voiced by Les Spink), and less modified, slowed down versions of them were used for The Shoal.
- The TimeSplitter half of the Freak resembles a Berserker Splitter.
