The Fire Extinguisher is a non-lethal weapon used to put out fires. In TimeSplitters 2, it appeared on the Siberia level and the Atom Smasher level, where it is used to put out fires to open fire doors.
To extinguish yourself, aim forwards and walk while firing, or aim towards your feet and fire.
During Sergio's Last Stand, the player may obtain one of the two Fire Extinguishers left behind the poles outside of the area. They can be used to put yourself out, which is almost vital to succeed well in the Challenge.
Trivia[]
- If you aim the Fire Extinguisher at the camera of an Autogun, the camera will break, disabling the Autogun.
- In Arcade Custom, bots will use the Fire Extinguisher to attempt to kill you and be practically defenceless.
- If a bot is lit on fire while holding only a Fire Extinguisher, the bot will stand in one spot, firing with the extinguisher pointed at the ground to attempt to put themselves out. They are unable to extinguish themselves, and the pattern continues until either a player puts the fire out or the bot dies.
- In Flame Tag and Virus, the Fire Extinguisher cannot extinguish anyone who is caught on fire. Instead, using that on the burned bot/person remains on fire (for Flame Tag, the fire from "Person A" will extinguish if "Person B" is tagged). In addition, the weapon cannot be used in these two modes in Arcade mode.
