Eli Scrubs is a cactus with robotic legs, wearing a boiler cap and shorts, with a piece of wheat in his mouth. In the Arcade League match, The Dead, The Bad and The Silly, Scrubs is holed up in the Mexican Mission level with Venus Starr and Jared Slim after "Causing trouble", however, it is unlikely that Scrubs is in their gang, as League matches and Challenges usually aren't canon.
Trivia[]
- If you look closely, you can see that Eli has two tiny little cactus arms below his 'normal' ones, which are holding on to two shift-sticks to control his bipedal tractor, and make him walk. You can also see that he has 'normal' 'legs' as well, but they are propped up against his chest, resting on part of the tractor he rides.
- Eli Scrubs might be an homage to Eli Wallach, an actor who often played unshaved villains in western movies i.e. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
- He reuses the voice clips of Malehood and Colonel, voiced by Hasit Zala.
- Eli, Fergal, Stone Golem, Oleg, Gaston, Badass Cyborg, Lazarus, Hans and Mr. Socky all have the same gesture, yet they all use unique gesture dialogue.
- If you look closely, you can see that Eli Scrubs' eyes are pink, which might mean he could be under the influence of a drug such as marijuana, or it could be Pink Eye.
- His internal name is simply cactus.
