Eidos Interactive were the publishers of TimeSplitters and TimeSplitters 2. Free Radical Design has since used different publishers for its other titles.

Based in Wimbledon, South London, Eidos Interactive Ltd, part of SCi Entertainment Group Plc (SEG), is one of the world’s leading developers of entertainment software. Eidos consists of publishing operations across Europe and the US and several development studios including Crystal Dynamics, IO Interactive and Pivotal Games, as well as a valuable stake in other studios.

In February 2009, Square Enix was approved to buy Eidos Interactive, eventually acquiring and took over the company on May 6th, 2009. In July, Square Enix announced the merging Eidos with Square Enix Limited, forming Square Enix Europe, which would occur on November 9th, 2009.
