The Drone Splitter, despite their name and affiliation, is not a race of TimeSplitters. They are an alien race that was enslaved by the TimeSplitters. Cortez encounters them in the Space Station, in TimeSplitters 2.

The Drone Splitter makes its sole appearance in TimeSplitters 2. It features infrequently in the Story mission Space Station, typically alongside Baby Drone Splitters. Outside of Story mode, it makes appearances in the Arcade League, a Challenge and several Bot Sets.
Trivia[]
- The Reaper Splitter and Drone Splitter reuse the TimeSplitter 1 and TimeSplitter 2 voice clips. The Berserker Splitter reuses them in TimeSplitters: Future Perfect. The Baby Drone Splitter uses high-pitched versions of these clips. This is quite odd, considering that Drones are not actually TimeSplitters.
- In Story mode, as they walk towards you to attack, white smoke, resembling the smoke that emanates from a Plasma Grenade, often puffs out of their mouth. This is completely absent in Arcade mode.
