The Dark Henchman is a generic type of henchman that works for Archibald Khallos and guards the Atom Smasher. They are slightly improved versions of the regular Henchmen and have the same basic look. The differences are in colour; their clothing is black with white stripes (opposed to yellow with black), and his night vision goggles are red instead of green.

The Dark Henchmen appear in TimeSplitters 2 as generic enemies in the Atom Smasher mission. Though they are improved versions of the other henchmen, the game states that the Dark Henchmen attained their rank simply by being the first to choose their uniform. If the Dark Henchmen are to star anywhere, they are usually paired with a greater or equal amount of henchmen. In the Arcade League matches Superfly Lady and Hangar Hat's Off!, the Dark Henchmen appear with the normal Henchmen, either working for or alongside Khallos at the Hangar.
The Dark Henchmen also appear in the Hangar and Site bot sets.
Story[]
1972, Khallos Island[]
- Main article: Atom Smasher
Khallos housed a particle accelerator at his own secret island base, the self-inspired Khallos Island. Khallos had also caught Agent Harry Tipper, but he escaped. Khallos then activated bombs scattered around the base as a counter-measure. The Henchmen stayed on the island attempting to kill Tipper and stop the scientists from disarming the bombs. However, the elite, dark-suited henchmen remained unable to defend their leader and perished alongside him.
Trivia[]
- Amusingly, the Dark Henchman's voice clips (voiced by Karl Hilton) were reused for the TSFP Henchman, while the TS2 Henchman's voice would be used for the Elite Henchman.
- The Elite Henchman from TimeSplitters Future Perfect resembles the Dark Henchman, and can be thought of as a successor (or a predecessor, chronologically speaking).
