The TimeSplitters series is renowned for its vast variety of wacky characters. TimeSplitters 1 has 64 playable characters, TimeSplitters 2 has 126, and TimeSplitters: Future Perfect has 150.
Altogether, it comes up to a grand total of 340 characters, including the returning appearances of characters that appeared in more than one game, and including certain characters' additional attires (them being Henchman Cortez, Dr. Cortez, Time Assassin Cortez, Karma Crow, Victorian Crow, Mad Old Crow, Swinging Tipper, and Dr. Amy). However, there are only 280 characters if you ignore the returning appearances of characters that appeared in more than one game, and 272 different characters if you also ignore additional attires.
There is also a vast number of non-playable characters and AI featuring in all three TimeSplitters games. For characters that were removed before individual game release, see Removed Characters. See the bottom of the page for Character Types.

Trivia[]
- Due to a cheat that allows all characters to be decapitated, almost all characters in TS1 have their own severed head model.
- Female Alien, Female Cyborg, Fishwife Mutant, and Girl Zombie are the only females in TS1 to use male animations. In the sequels, all characters use male animations.
- In earlier builds of TSFP, most if not all female characters used male animations. This meant shooting them in the crotch could trigger the "bollockdeath" death animation.
- In the Homefront version of TS2, an additional playable character can be unlocked, Consultant, who is a very similar character to Accountant and Lawyer; this is probably why he was omitted as a playable character from the original releases of the game.
- Khallos, Dr. Peabody, Henchman, Jo-Beth Casey, and Cortez all have two different fire screams to themselves in the games they appear in.
- Whilst there are 52 TS1-exclusive characters, 76 TS2-exclusive characters, and 100 TSFP-exclusive characters (including additional attires, such as Swinging Tipper), there are 52 characters that appeared in more than one game.
- Lt. Malone and Teeth Mummy appeared only in TS1 and TSFP.
- Insect Mutant and Impersonator appeared only in TS1 and TS2.
- Captain Ash, Harry Tipper, Chinese Chef, Gingerbread Man, Duckman Drake, Chastity Detroit, Badass Cyborg, and Robofish appeared in all three games.
- Forty characters appeared only in TS2 and TSFP; Jared Slim, Venus Starr, Viola, Mr. Underwood, Jacque de la Morte, Cropolite, Maiden, Changeling, Undead Priest, Sewer Zombie, Crypt Zombie, Jungle Queen, Dinosaur, Monkey, Aztec Warrior, High Priest, Stone Golem, Braces, Handyman, Kitten Celeste, Khallos, Dr. Peabody, Henchman, Jo-Beth Casey, Crispin, Bear, Leo Krupps, Kypriss, Mischief, Mr. Giggles, Stumpy, Ghost, Master, Riot Officer, Candi Skyler, Snowman, R One-Oh-Seven, Cortez, Corporal Hart, and Calamari.
