Captain Ed Shivers makes his singular appearance in TimeSplitters Future Perfect. He has no role in the game beyond appearing as the player character in the Arcade League match Pirate Gold.
Trivia[]
- Captain Shivers shares his surname with Sergeant Shivers from TimeSplitters 2. A relation, however, is highly unlikely.
- When he is killed, he can sometimes be heard to mutter 'Crush me barnacles...' or 'Damn yer eyes...', making him one of few characters to speak any actual words in Arcade.
- Unlike most pirate stereotypes, Captain Ed does not have an eyepatch, and instead of carrying a parrot on his shoulder he appears to have an owl instead.
- His pain/death voice clips - and fire scream - are exclusive to him.
