<p>I really think you are right about that, even though if you've played the Chinese level in the first game, Mr.Big gets killed(by the person playing) about 2-3 times. </p>

<p>I like to think they are alternate reality versions of the same character. You know, like evil Spock with the beard. Two different timelines, one basic character, with some crucial differences, foremost being the precise native timezone. Although, the "hero" characters have noted lineages (for example the Nadirs or the Joneses), so its entirely possible Big Tony is simply Mr. Big's unacknowledged ancestor within the same timeline. </p>

<p>I blame all of this weird mess (Strange possible relations and killing the same person multiple times) on wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff caused by the Splitters. We've seen the same person in one timeline before in FP, haven't we? And by the way 'Out of town' is used to describe Tony's brother in the briefing could be the same logic as in the Dock Duck Shoot 'Out of town' alien competitors, meaning he could be Mister Big brought from a very distant place, e.g. another timeline. </p>
